Kalluri Group, Inc. (KGI) is a consulting engineering company dedicated solely to the design of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants for Refineries, Petro-Chemical Plants, Municipalities and Other Industries. KGI's expertise includes process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, controls, SCADA, Safety/Security elements for water and wastewater treatment facilities. KGI's clients include operating companies, municipalities, large consulting engineering companies, EPC companies and equipment manufacturers/ suppliers.
History
KGI started in 1998 with Chevron as a sole client responsible for the design of a $11.0 MM wastewater treatment plant. Today, we boast to have 40 to 50 selected Clients and participated in more than 100 different projects ranging in size from $1.0 million to $2.0 billion.
Since inception, KGI's singular focus has been our Clients. Through collaborative approach, we align our work processes and deliverables with our Client's Vision, Goals and Objectives. On major projects, we seamlessly integrate our team into our Client's team not only to create a collegial working environment but also to achieve the common end goals and objectives of the project.
Most of KGI's projects come from our existing Clients or referrals from existing Clients. Our Team
Ramesh Kalluri, P.E. | Sr. Process Engineer
Mr. Kalluri has more than 35 years of experience in environmental regulations, engineering/design, project management, project controls, construction support and start-up operations. His fields of experience include water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and odor control & VOC control systems for both industrial and municipal operations. Mr. Kalluri specializes in executing water and wastewater treatment projects from concept development through construction and start-up. One of his notable projects included a $35 million wastewater treatment plant for a petroleum refinery in West Texas which was completed in a record time of four (4) months from concept through construction and start-up saving $1 MM/day in lost revenue for the Client.
Late Michael Wooley, P.E. | Principal Electrical Engineer
Late Mr. Wooley was responsible for starting the electrical division for Kalluri Group, Inc. Mr. Wooley was widely acknowledged as an authority in the field of medium voltage design, particularly in the state of Texas. Mr. Wooley’s extensive experience included lift stations, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, auxiliary power generator systems, substations, motor controls, motors to 5,000 HP, electrical power distribution (to 35 kV). KGI is grateful for his service and for training other engineers.
Zee Siddiqui, P.E. | Sr. Electrical Relay Engineer (Consultant)
Mr. Siddiqui has more than 35 years of experience in the design of medium and high voltage power systems. Mr. Siddiqui is an expert in Relay Coordination Engineering and proficient in the use of several power system tools including SKM and ETAP. Mr. Siddiqui has performed numerous complicated electrical studies such as short circuit, protective relay coordination and transient motor starting for off-shore platforms, large petroleum refineries and large water/wastewater ratings. Mr. Siddiqui's emphasis is safety-in-design and implements in all of his designs as a standard practice
Howard Wilson, | Sr. Project Manager
Mr. Wilson has more than 35 years of experience in the Electrical / Instrumentation design, supervision, construction and estimation. Design experience includes layout, inspection, troubleshooting of electrical power panels, controls, communications, lighting, HVAC, instrument surge protection and grounding systems. Completed projects include the following fields: Water / Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Airports, Petrochemical and Schools. In addition, Mr. Wilson has an Electrician's license since 1983.
Wade Hubble, P.E.
Mr. Hubble has over 20 years in the electrical industry with experience installing and troubleshooting power & lighting, instrumentation and controls, SCADA, access control, fire detection and alarm systems, medium voltage switchgear (to 15 kV), motors up to 3000 HP, adjustable speed drives, and motor control centers. Projects ranged from Municipal Water & Wastewater Plants to Residential and Commercial Buildings. Licensed as a Journeyman Electrician in 2000 and currently hold a Master Electrician's license since 2009. Mr. Hubble was responsible for all the site electrical design including High Service Pump Stations, electrical duct banks, I&C duct banks, and data highway for the Northeast Water Purification Plant 320 MGD Expansion Project.
Gurwinder Aulakh, P.E.
Mr. Aulakh is an experienced engineer with over six years of dedicated service in the water and wastewater industry. His passion for water infrastructure and commitment to excellence have made a lasting impact on our projects. He specializes in designing lift stations and has designed numerous stations for various clients in the Houston area. Gurwinder is also skilled in designing backup power systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities and ensuring compliance with local regulations. His expertise includes conducting electrical studies such as short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies for multiple treatment facilities using SKM Power Tools Electrical Engineering Software.
Stacy Jordan, P.E.
Mr. Jordan boasts more than 25 years of extensive proficiency in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, establishing himself as a seasoned expert in the industry. His broad range of skills encompasses design, coordination, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting, all refined through extensive hands-on practice over the years. Drawing from a diverse background that includes prior experience in construction as an electrician and project management, Stacy brings a distinctive perspective to his endeavors. This background equips him to make well-informed decisions regarding design feasibility, scheduling, and sequencing, ensuring the smooth execution of projects. Stacy's direct involvement in project implementation and system startup fosters effective communication among team members, facilitating the precise and efficient integration of control systems. His expertise extends to coordinating and executing upgrades and replacements for electrical and control systems, always with a focus on minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. Abhishek Pandey, Ph.D., P.E., PMP®
Mr. Pandey is an experienced electrical, process instrumentation, and controls engineer, as well as a proficient project manager. His skill set encompasses power systems design (primary and standby), utility coordination, control system design, SCADA design/programming, various water and wastewater treatment systems, network communications, cybersecurity, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems. With a robust background and extensive experience in electrical engineering, process instrumentation, and controls, coupled with project and construction management expertise, he ensures the seamless integration of systems into critical infrastructure projects, enhancing their safety and security.
Toan Pham, E.I.T | Electrical Engineer-in-Trainee
Mr. Pham is an Engineer-in-Training with experience in engineering and design, particularly in power, control, and instrumentation for Water/Wastewater treatment plants. He has been involved in enhancing chemical treatment processes across various Ground Water Plants and Pump Stations through his contributions to power and control design. Mr. Pham also has actively participated in electrical short circuit analysis, coordination studies, and arc flash assessments utilizing SKM Power Tools Electrical Engineering Software.
